Find the Right Job at the Right Company

We match you with career opportunities that fit your skills, experience, and aspirations. Whether you’re a developer, engineer or a mechanic, we connect you with reputable companies in the Netherlands that value international talent and are looking for experts like you.

Citizen Service Number (BSN)

One of the first things you’ll need in the Netherlands is a Citizen Service Number (BSN). This unique number is essential for working, opening a bank account, and accessing healthcare. We’ll guide you through the process of obtaining your BSN and ensure everything is in place for a smooth start.

Residence Permit

If you’re moving from outside the EU, you’ll need a valid residence permit to live and work in the Netherlands. Expat Bridge helps you understand the residency requirements and assists in applying for your permit, making sure all documents are in order for a successful application.

Work Permit

For non-EU nationals, a work permit may also be required. We help navigate the sometimes complex regulations and ensure you have the correct authorization to work in the Netherlands without any legal complications.

Labour Contract

When you work with Expat Bridge, you’ll sign your employment contract directly with us. We take care of all employment arrangements and will officially be your employer. From there, you’ll be seconded to one of our client companies, where you’ll carry out your day-to-day work. This approach allows us to provide you with ongoing support while ensuring you have a clear, secure agreement in place, covering everything from salary and benefits to working conditions.

Housing Assistance

Finding a home in a new country can be a challenging task, but at Expat Bridge, we make it easier. Thanks to our extensive network in the real estate sector, we help you find a suitable home that meets your preferences and is conveniently located near your workplace. Whether you’re looking for a modern apartment in the city or a family-friendly home in the suburbs, we work closely with you to ensure you settle into a comfortable living environment.

Taxation in the Netherlands

Understanding taxation is an important part of working in the Netherlands, especially as an expat. The Dutch tax system can seem complex, but Expat Bridge is here to help you understand the essentials.

As a resident, your income will be subject to Dutch taxation, which is structured in brackets. You’ll need to register with the local tax authorities (Belastingdienst) and file annual tax returns. However, as an expat, you may also be eligible for the 30% ruling, a tax advantage that allows highly skilled migrants to receive 30% of their income tax-free for up to five years. This benefit is designed to cover the extra costs associated with living and working abroad.

We will guide you through the process of applying for the 30% ruling, if applicable, and help you understand your tax obligations so that you can manage your finances effectively during your time in the Netherlands.
